About DJ French Noodles

At the turn of the century I used to spin blues and jazz 78 rpm records on custom dual windup turntables . These vintage phonographs required a new needle each time you played a side, and thanks to Stephen at Welcome To The Johnson’s, I was called DJ Fresh Needles. 20 years later I have slowed down (to 45 rpm) and started looking for smaller lighter records to play…
Last year my wife humorously remembered my old DJ name as “French Noodles”, so I went with that as an update.

I love sharing rare records from the sixties and seventies featuring soul, r&b, and garage with a sprinkling of francophone covers of well-known tracks and unique under-the-radar French pop.
